How to Dry Carpet With Air Mover / Carpet Dryer?

Cleaning your carpet can be quite a chore. This is because of the preparation it takes to actually access the carpet, and the number of hours or days it takes for the carpet to dry to a point where you can move furniture back into the room. Placing furniture over wet carpet can damage metal or wood furniture and make rust or wood stain marks on the carpet. Air Mover / Carpet Dryer are high-powered and low amperage fans that push air over the carpet to accelerate the rate at which your carpet dries completely.


Instructions:
Step 1: Place the blower on the carpet and plug it in. If the room is very large you may need to use more than one blower to dry the entire carpet.

Step 2: Turn the blower toward the center of the wet carpet. Adjust the blower, so that it is blowing air horizontally over the surface. If it is tilted up, it will not work. If you are using multiple blowers, place them in different areas of the room to maximize the effect.

Step 3: Move the fan every few hours, so that you don't depress the carpet. This will also help dry the carpet evenly.
